The Faith of a Child, Or Something Like That

Our first born is our son Simon. He has always and I mean always been a creative ball of pure energy. Since the time of his birth, we had our hands so full parenting him that a second child was hardly a thought, until one day when Simon said he wanted a sister. We patted him on the head and said, "good, Son" and went on with our lives. But he was serious and earnest in wanting a sister. This banter went on most every day for months until one day Simon woke us up very early and got in bed with us, his eyes wide, and said,"Mom, Dad, I just had a dream. I was in a hallway praising God and I looked and at the end of the hallway was a little baby smiling and waving at me." We looked at each other and were like, 'ok, that was a nice dream son' and got up and went on with our day. About a week and a half later, Vanessa missed her period and found out she was pregnant, very unexpectedly. But not unexpected to Simon. He knew. Somehow he knew. Thank you son for believing. And so....Sophie. And we're so thankful!
